The Open Journal of Biodiversity and Ecosystems (OJBE) was launched in 2024 by students and alumni of the University of Edinburgh’s Master’s programme, Biodiversity, Wildlife, and Ecosystem Health.
OJBE is a student-led, peer-reviewed, Open Access journal. All content is published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence, unless otherwise stated. There are no fees to access or publish in the journal.
Aims & Scope
The Open Journal of Biodiversity and Ecosystems (OJBE) will provide an opportunity for early career researchers, as well as more experienced scientists, to share their research work. It will also incorporate nature-inspired artwork and photography, as an expression of appreciation of nature.
The journal will also be a platform for a limited selection of book reviews and editorial content.
Publication Frequency
OJBE publishes two issues per year.
